Project-Based Learning
The “Real Life English and Project-Based Learning” is an English course intended to develop English language learners’ linguistic skills by engaging them in projects and activities in which they learn the English language by doing. The projects include a wide variety of activities that happen in the community, such as developing a neighborhood watch program, designing summer courses for students, organizing a camping trip to the Rockies, etc. In these projects, language learners get involved in plenty of interaction and communication. They learn by doing: making a request, challenging an idea, presenting and supporting and argument, responding to counter arguments, and many other practical aspects of the language that we have during our daily life at home, school, or work.
The “Real Life English and Project-Based Learning” is a program for adult and young adult language learners who are interested in learning English in a more active and engaging way. In Real Life English program, learners can learn best by actively engaging in designing and organizing projects. The program has been designed in three proficiency levels: Elementary, Intermediate, and advanced, and each level will be organized in two terms.
The “Real Life English and Project-Based Learning” program is intended to improve language learners’ linguistics skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and micro-skills (pronunciation, spelling, vocabulary, and grammar).
